As the air gets crisp and the leaves turn from green to brown, autumn is a spectacular time to visit eastern Canada and New England. Vantage Deluxe World Travel’s Autumn in New England & Canada: Montréal to Boston will take you on a 10-night cruise through Canada’s breathtaking Nova Scotia and into the Quebecois region. But this is just the beginning! Then, get to know the USA’s birthplace as you stroll down the brick-lined alleys of Beacon Hill, crossing Charles River into Cambridge. You’ll delve into Boston’s historic importance as you explore Cambridge, Lexington, and Concord.  Feel inspired by the North America you never could have imagined.

Seamlessly blending luxury small ship cruising and intimate cultural discovery, the luxurious, 5-star Ocean Explorer is steeped in world-class amenities. Pamper yourself by getting a spa treatment or relaxing in the onboard hot tub. Read up on the region in the library or relax on the observation deck while witnessing sweeping vistas of Peggy’s Cove and Prince Edward Island in warm autumnal hues. The natural beauty of this journey is staggering, as you’ll see when you sail the fishing villages of the Magdalen Islands, and the unparalleled St. Lawrence River. Savor New England’s clam chowder, freshly-caught lobster, smoked herring, and Quebecois poutine.

While certain ports may require tendering to and from the ship, our 5-star fleet gives our guests access to exclusive ports, less queuing, and more time to spend onshore in each destination. For the majority of your journey, the Ocean Explorer will be berthed at the places you visit, which means minimal tendering. And because of our vessels’ small size, fewer travelers will be onboard, creating more impactful interactions and Cultural Discoveries with locals, Tour Directors, lecturers, and more.

The magic of eastern Canada will unfold before you as dolphins and whales swim along the Saint Lawrence River. Pass by red sandstone cliffs, colossal boulders, and pristine forests. In the fairytale UNESCO town of Québec City, you’ll stroll through the Plains of Abraham, admire Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, and experience the rush of Montmorency Falls. Your final destination will be the enchanting, French-influenced metropolis of Montréal. This UNESCO City of Design boasts more than 50 national sites, including the neo-Gothic Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. With 18 included features and Cultural Discoveries, Autumn in New England & Canada: Montréal to Boston is filled with endless charm and discovery throughout some of North America’s most unforgettable locales.
