And to guide your included shore excursions, we’ve selected the best regional experts. If your program includes a land stay (or if you have chosen an optional extension), you will also enjoy the services of a City Host at your hotel, who can help you plan your exploration.

Born in Palencia, northern Spain, Carmen is an authentic Cruise Director who is always ready to solve any inconvenience and to make her guests feel like they’re home. She says that sharing, traveling, and learning new things are just a few reasons why she became a guide. She has lived in many places, including the UK, Paris, France, Spain, and Portugal, and speaks Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French. With an MBA in management hospitality and degrees in tourism and recreation, Carmen enjoys meeting new people and assisting them with whatever they need — besides enriching their experiences!

What is the legend about this cathedral? What do the decorations on a particular house mean? Your regional expert is eager to bring it all alive for you.
