There’s no shortage of magnificent sites and spectacular scenery when you travel through the Amazon.

• Find yourself up close to Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer statue when you board a cog railway train to the top of Corcovado Mountain. This iconic sculpture is carved from pure soapstone and stands over 120-feet tall.
• Arrive in Ilhabela, the largest island in Brazil, and sail the day away aboard a two-masted schooner. The unspoiled beauty of this island, with its numerous waterfalls and immeasurable flora and fauna, will take your breath away as you motor through the São Sebastião Channel.
• Make your way around Manaus’ historic landmarks on a panoramic tour of the Amazon basin’s largest city. Included in your tour is a stop at the Teatro Amazonas, or Amazon Theater, a stunning vision in pink dating back to the early 19th century and built entirely of materials imported from Europe.
