A passport is required for this trip. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the scheduled
return date of your vacation. Bring with you a photocopy of the pages
of your passport that contain your personal information and extra
passport photographs. These are useful in the event of loss. |

contact the embassies or consulates of the countries to be visited for
further information and special requirements.

A visa to India is required prior to your arrival. (Note, for travellers who have reserved the Bhutan pre-extension, a multiple entry Indian visa is required. For those not going to Bhutan, a single entry visa is sufficient.) Information will be sent at 100 days prior to your departure. Please refer to Generations Visa Service at http://www.genvisa.com for up-to-date requirements and application fees. Passport details need to be submitted to Vantage 120 days prior to departure so that train tickets may be issued.
Visa for the Kingdom of Bhutan: In order to obtain a Bhutan visa, passport details must be submitted to Vantage 120 days prior to departure. Vantage will assist in obtaining a Bhutan Visa Clearance Letter, which will be delivered to clients upon arrival in Delhi. Clients will need the letter, plus 4 copies of passport photos, to board Druk Air to Bhutan. A Bhutan visa will be issued upon arrival in Bhutan.
Non-U.S. citizens or passport holders: It is your responsibility to contact the Indian local embassy or consulate for requirements (or website), which may vary from above. Passport details need to be submitted to Vantage 120 days prior to departure so that train tickets may be issued.

Please Note: Travel times are approximate and may vary. Due to schedule and routing changes made by airlines, some of the above-listed routings may include stops not listed above, and some cities will require an overnight stay at a JFK airport hotel at an additional cost.
Luggage needs to be locked for all domestic flights within India and Bhutan. Passengers are allowed one piece of carry on luggage and one piece of check in baggage, with a maximum weight of 44 pounds. Tickets for flights within India will be delivered to passengers on site.
