Please Note: Travel times are approximate and may vary, based on the JFK gateway. Due to schedule and routing changes made by airlines, some of the above-listed routings may include stops not listed above. Aer Lingus, the airline you will be flying with from New York to Shannon, Ireland does not have an inter-line luggage agreement with all domestic carriers. Therefore, in New York, you will be responsible for transferring your own luggage from the JFK Airport terminal to your Aer Lingus terminal, which is Terminal 4. Here, a Vantage representative will be on hand to assist you with the international check-in for your flight to Shannon.
You can transfer your luggage via the AirTrain. The AirTrain circles all terminals continuously, and all rides are free. An entire AirTrain loop takes approximately 10 minutes. For more information, please visit: http://www.panynj.gov/CommutingTravel/airports/html/kennedy.html
Due to the limitations on the motorcoach on which you'll be traveling through Ireland, we advise you to bring only one checked bag and one carry-on tote. Please note that Aer Lingus is now charging $50 for a second checked bag (up to 50 lbs.).
This information is subject to change.
