"Flight of Angels" Over Victoria Falls

Coined by David Livingstone when he first discovered the Falls: “A sight so wonderful that angels must have gazed down on it in flight,” the “Flight of Angels” is the most popular of the flight options offered over Victoria Falls. You’ll depart from your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle accompanied by an English-speaking guide. You’ll then enter the park ($5.00 entry fee not included) and stop at the helipad, located two miles from Victoria Falls town center. You’ll embark your helicopter for a 12- to 13-minute scenic flight over Victoria Falls for spectacular views, flying lower than conventional, fixed-wing aircraft and making a complete circuit over the Falls in both directions. You’ll also fly up river and back over the Zambezi National Park. Approximate Time: 1 hour. 15 min.

Elephant Back Safari

Ride, learn about and interact with majestic elephants on a 45-60 minute Elephant Experience. You will see these awe-inspiring creatures up-close and take a ride on the back of one of them through the bush, enabling you to see the wildlife of Victoria Falls Game Reserve from a truly unique perspective. After a safety talk and introductions to your elephants and ‘Induna’ (guide), you’ll mount your elephant and begin your exciting ride. You will also observe and learn about game, bird life, flora and fauna. Although the enormous torrents are what Victoria Falls are renowned for, the broad Zambezi River above the falls is a scenic wonder that should not be overlooked. Join us on this special sunset cruise and you’ll board a sightseeing boat to explore among the multiple channels and jungle islands that dot the wide river, which flows through nearly unspoiled forest. As the sun sets over the jungle, your on-board guide will help point out birds and wildlife along the rivers edge, including egrets, hippos, and even elephants. Stellenbosch Wine Country Tour

The beautiful winelands around the old town of Stellenbosch date to the 17th century, and produce wines that are admired the world over. The rich waters of Walvis Bay, one of southern Africa’s most important port areas, harbor a rich variety of marine mammals and sea birds. Join us for this fascinating excursion and you’ll make a scenic 45 minute drive south along the coast. Along the way you’ll pass enormous sand dunes to your left and a shipwreck or two to the right as we enter the busy Walvis Bay seaport. You’ll meet your captain / marine guide as you board our motor cruise vessel at the marina, a center for the pleasure craft that ply that sparkling bay. Out in the bay, you’ll thrill to the sight of dolphins leaping alongside the boat, colonies of seals basking along the shore, and seabirds of the southern oceans wafting overhead. You’ll even get a chance for an up-close view of “stowaway” seals who come aboard the vessel for hand-fed treats. During your cruise, enjoy fresh oysters from the bay, tasty snacks, and a glass of sparkling wine or a cold beer or soft drink. This is a unique opportunity to experience a busy African working seaport, the pleasure-boating waters of the bay, and Namibia’s rich coastal ecosystem. Approximate Time: 4 hours

Lion & Elephant Combo Tour

This amazing experience is a great addition to Victoria Falls, Africa’s
adventure capital. This tour is a combination of the Lion encounter and
Elephant Safari. No leashes or collars the pride runs freely with you
through the bush. You may even be lucky enough to experience a stalk on
some of the wildlife species, which abound in Victoria Falls Private
Game Reserve. Enjoy the spine tingly thrill of your first encounter as
the lions brush past you, zigzagging between your legs as they move to
take the lead. You will have the opportunity to walk, interact and
observe the pride in their natural environment. You will then be
introduced to your induna (elephant carer) and the elephants
themselves. On mounting the elephants, the safari begins – view game
whilst riding game, savoring the experience of crashing through the
African bush atop a gigantic pachyderm. Your safari ends with a short
training session and interaction with the elephants. Please note order
of the tour may be reversed. Approximate Time: 2 hours
