Pride of Auckland Tour
Auckland, New Zealand
Evening Tour

Cruise on Auckland’s sparkling Waitemata Harbor. Aboard a 50-foot vessel. Dotted with yachts, runabouts, launches and ferries, the harbor is Auckland’s top scenic feature - a playground that beckons visitors and locals alike. The sailing experience offers a fabulous perspective on the Auckland skyline and will enhance the sightseeing tour from day one. To sail here is to sail in the domain of champions. The maritime prowess of this country is long and proud. From the first arrival of the Maori in canoes, watercraft has been an integral part of our development. With trademark blue and white vertically striped sails, the Pride of Auckland yachts have become the nautical icon in Auckland, the “City of Sails”. The boats’ names invoke past dreams of the rich Americas Cup history – Courageous, Challenger, Defender, and Defiance.

Enjoy the finest fresh produce in a calm and magnificent harbor setting. Your crew of two will be your hosts, cook and serve your meal and ensure your comfort. Entry to the NZ National Maritime Museum is provided to all guests. This new generation museum is truly a very different kind of cultural institution and tourist attraction. The museum celebrates New Zealand’s maritime heritage and the voyaging traditions and craft of the Pacific. The Museum is a working example of New Zealand maritime history and galleries include immigration, whaling, navigation, and Polynesian navigation of the Pacific. There are boat builders, wood turners and model maker’s workshops.
