This 14-day tour covers five main destinations, with two nights in Milan, Lugano & Zermatt and three nights in Riva del Garda & Stresa. On four days, departure from the hotels will be early between 8am and 9am. Some transfers are long, but never without stopping at least every two hours for rest stops, lunch & sightseeing.
Most sightseeing on air-conditioned coaches with guides. All hotels in lakes area are in flat and convenient locations. However, a number of sightseeing trips are in hilly areas, so passengers should be ready to use some stairs on a daily basis. Small boats holding at least 50 people are used in Lake Garda and Lake Lugano. Smaller boats are used for short transfers in Stresa.
This program offers great cultural opportunities to soak up the art and history through guided tours and lectures, plus learning about the natural differences between the Alps and Dolomites. Familiar Italian cuisine is presented on various days.
There are high altitudes in Zermatt and the Dolomites Alps regions, with travel to these places by motorcoach. There are no included cable car transports. This trip is not suitable for wheelchairs or other mobility aids. There is a lot of climbing and stairs in general.
